951 The Bull Sports Report (10/4)

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky and North Butler Bearcat football teams made-up their Week five football game last night in Allison.  The Huskies won in a close one 30-28.  Nashua football is now 3-3 overall this season and they move to 2-2 in Class A District 3 while North Butler drops to 2-4 and 1-3.  The Huskies will be at Grundy Center this Friday and the Bearcats will be at West Fork.

The New Hampton Chickasaw volleyball team will return to action tonight with a pair of matches at Turkey Valley.  The Chickasaws and Trojans will be joined by Kee High for tonight’s triangular meet.  New Hampton is 17-6 overall this season, Turkey Valley comes in at 5-13 and Kee High is 4-14 this season.  The first serve of the first match tonight will be the Trojans at Kee high at 5pm, New Hampton will then take on Kee High and the night will wrap up with New Hampton taking on Turkey Valley.

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky volleyball team will be at West Fork tonight for a Top of Iowa Conference match against the War-Hawks.  Nashua comes in with an overall record of 3-11 and they are 2-4 in the conference while West Fork comes in at 9-6 and 5-2.  First serve is scheduled for 7:30.

The Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougar volleyball team will be on the road tonight for a North Iowa Cedar League match at Aplington-Parkersburg.  The Cougars are 24-4 overall this season and they are 5-2 in NICL action while A-P comes in at 12-12 and 2-5.  First serve for this match is scheduled for 7pm.

The South Winneshiek Warrior volleyball team will host an Upper Iowa Conference match tonight against Clayton Ridge.  The Warrior volleyball team is 12-18 overall this season and they are 5-1 in Upper Iowa Conference matches.  Clayton Ridge is 9-15 overall and 2-4 in conference play.  This match is set to begin at about 7:30.

The North Fayette Valley volleyball team will travel to MFL-Mar-Mac High School tonight for an Upper Iowa Conference match.  The Tiger-Hawks come in at 15-8 overall and are a perfect 5-0 in conference action while MFL-Mar-Mac is 5-13 and 3-4.  First serve for this match is scheduled for about 7:30.
