Coats For Kids Collection

Mercy Medical Center – New Hampton is collecting new or good used winter coats, hats, mittens and scarves for the “Coats for Kids” campaign. Collection runs from September 2nd to September 30th. Adult sized coats are also being collected for high-school aged children. Chickasaw Volleyball Cancer Awareness Night

The New Hampton Chickasaw Volleyball team will be hosting Cancer Awareness Night on September 16th as NH takes on Cresco. Activities begin at 5:00pm with the bake sale, memory wall, pass the bucket free will offering and a 50/50 drawing. N-P Volleyball Alzheimer’s Awareness Match

The Nashua-Plainfield Volleyball team will be hosting an Alzheimer’s Awareness Match on Tuesday September 16th vs West Fork. The match will be played in honor of Dorthy Welter, N-P’s own Liz Appel’s grandma. There will be raffle tickets available for purchase at the match for a variety of items. Hunter Education Class

September 18 @ 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm

A hunter education class will be offered on September 18th and 20th. The class will be from 5:30 to 9:30pm on the 18th and from 8 to 4 on the 20th at the Fredericksburg Sportsman’s Club. Students must attend both sessions. The minimum certification age is twelve but the class is open to anyone age 11 and older. Online registration is required by clicking here.
