Amid virus spikes, Charles City Public Library closes again; material pickup available

And a new string of Floyd County closures has begun after the virus total in the county has spiked to 761 – with 139 new cases coming in the last week alone. The newest closure is the Charles City Library which has totally closed to doors for the second time this calendar year. 

Librarian Stacey Leerhoff says the library will be open for pickups Monday through Friday from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. and on Saturdays from 1 to 5 P.M.

The library will be closed for at least a month.
