Osage volleyball #1 in state for 2nd straight week

Osage volleyball is number one in the state of Iowa. With a record of 16-1, the girls opened up the season with 15 straight wins and didn’t even let up a set during that time. Their only loss on the season came last week to 2A #3 Dike-New Hartford.

Superintendent of Osage Barb Schwamman believes it is the first time in school history that their volleyball team has been ranked first in the state.

Schwamman also is the color commentator for 98.7 KISS Country’s broadcasts of the Osage volleyball games (Nolan Peters does the play-by-play).

Osage volleyball will be back in action at Waverly-Shell Rock volleyball tournament on Saturday.
