University of Iowa Football Team Finalizes Future Schedules

Brand new opponent added for 2024 season

(2020) In a press release today, the University of Iowa announced that they have completed the 2024 schedule, and adjusted dates in the 2023 schedule.

In 2024 the Hawkeyes will host Troy University on September 14th. This will be the first football game ever played between the two schools. Other non-conference games in 2024 include a home game against Illinois State, and a visit to Ames for the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk series match up.

Iowa’s 2023 schedule has had two game dates adjusted, though the scheduled opponents will remain the same. The Hawkeyes will now play Utah State on September 2nd and will play Western Michigan on September 16th. Previously, Iowa was to play the Broncos of Western Michigan on September 2nd, and the Aggies of Utah State on September 16th.
