Charles City, Iowa – As small businesses throughout the area struggle through the COVID-19 pandemic, they also lend a helping hand when they can.
One such businesses is Computronics in Charles City.
When the Charles City Rotary Club made the decision to purchase three laptops for two local nursing homes and Comprehensive Systems, Craig and Cindy Haberkorn, owners of Computronics, made it their priority to get the laptops ordered and downloaded to make them user-friendly.
While technology, such as laptops and I-pads, are recently being sold at top prices right now, Haberkorn sold the laptops to the Rotary Club at cost.
The Charles City Rotary Club is also working on a project to provide face-shields to local medical facilities, as well as providing child safety-kits to area organizations and daycares.
