Charles City, Iowa – Casting your vote on election day is special.  It’s even more memorable when it’s your first time exercising your freedoms.

Jodie Sindlinger is a senior at Charles City High School and she voted for the first time in her life.  She says it’s everyone’s patriotic duty to cast their vote because it means their decision is being heard.

She says she plans on voting for the rest of her life and her message to others not only her age, but those who decide to stay home from the polls.
