951 The Bull Sports Report (6/20)

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky softball team was in Manly last night for their Top of Iowa Conference game against Central Springs.  The Huskies had just one hit in the game and were beaten 10-0 in five innings.  The Nashua softball team falls to 7-13 overall and 4-8 in the conference.  They will have their next game tomorrow night at home against Saint Ansgar.

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky baseball team also took on Central Springs on the road in Top of Iowa Conference play.  Mason Hyde pitched the complete game shutout and also had a double, an RBI and a run scored to lead the Huskies to a 2-0 victory.  The Nashua baseball team is now 6-11 overall and 4-7 in league play.  They will play at home tomorrow night against Saint Ansgar.

The Turkey Valley Trojan baseball team was in Oelwein last night for a non-conference game against the Huskies.  The Trojans wound up on the losing end of a 9-7 score.  Turkey Valley baseball is now 7-12 overall this season and they will be back in action tomorrow night at home against North Fayette Valley.

The New Hampton Chickasaw baseball team will be at home tonight for a Northeast Iowa Conference double-header against Waverly-Shell Rock.  The Chickasaws come in at 18-3 overall this season and they are 9-2 in the NEIC, which currently has them in first place.  The Go-Hawks come in at 17-4 overall and they sit in a tie for second in the NEIC with an 8-2 conference record.  You can tune into both games right here on KCHA starting with a pre-game at 4:45 and first pitch of the first game will be at 5pm.

The New Hampton Chickasaw softball team will also host Waverly-Shell Rock tonight in a Northeast Iowa Conference double-header.  The Chickasaws are 17-6 overall this season and 7-4 in the NEIC while the Go-Hawks are 15-8 and 7-3.  First pitch of the first game is scheduled for 5:30.
