951 The Bull Sports Report (6/19)

In a game heard right here on 951 The Bull last night, the New Hampton Chickasaw baseball team was at home for a Northeast Iowa Conference game against Crestwood.  The Chickasaws built a 4-0 lead after three innings and cruised to an 8-3 victory.  Mason Cleveland scored four runs for New Hampton to back Max Babcock who picked up the win.  Babcock threw four innings and gave up one unearned run.  The New Hampton baseball team improves to 18-3 overall this season and they move their NEIC record to 9-2.  They will have their next games tomorrow night as they will head to Waverly for a conference double-header.

The New Hampton Chickasaw softball team was at home as well last night as they also took on Crestwood in Northeast Iowa Conference action.  New Hampton fell on the losing end of a 7-3 score.  The Chickasaw softball team is now 17-6 overall this season and their NEIC record falls to 7-4.  They will look to get back on track tomorrow night at Waverly.

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky baseball team was in Osage last night for a Top of Iowa Conference contest.  The Huskies gave up three runs in the fourth inning and were unable to push across any runs of their own as they went down in defeat 3-0.  The Nashua baseball team falls to 5-11 overall and 3-7 in the conference.  They will play a conference game again tonight at Central Springs.
