Osage Man Facing Charges After Fleeing From Officers

Mason City, Iowa – An Osage man is facing numerous charges after fleeing law enforcement on Monday night, reaching speeds over 100 mph, sideswiping vehicles and striking a utility pole.

36-year-old Eric William Jensen has been charged with felony 2nd degree criminal mischief, eluding at speeds of 25 mph over the limit, along with driving while suspended and numerous other traffic violations.

Jensen was transported to Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa for an evaluation but was released and booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail where his bail was set at $2,000.

He is schedule to appear in Cerro Gordo County District Court on Friday, April 20th.

The case remains under investigation.
