Another Person Resigns from the Nashua City Council

Nashua, IA – The Nashua City Council has had a tough time getting council members to commit in the last several months. Kyle Lane and Brenda Roberts had both resigned last fall and now another member has resigned.

Ryan Jung submitted his resignation at their meeting held last Monday night. He hadn’t attended a meeting in 2018, and he will be moving out of town. This was made effective immediately.

The council had demanded for Jung’s intentions. No special election will be held this time unlike last fall. Anyone interested in filling this position should contact Nashua City Hall.

The person chosen to fill this position will serve through December of 2019.
