Charles City, IA – The first ever New Year’s Eve Bash was held in Charles City on Sunday night. A big turnout was expected, but the cold temperatures knocked down the attendance.

Mark Wicks, Charles City Chamber of Commerce Director, says more about how the night went.

Dr. Jim Wand was the entertainment for the night along with a DJ. Wicks is unsure if this event will be held again next year.

Tickets for this event were available for purchase ahead of time, or they would have been sold at the gate the night of the event.
