Mason City, IA – A man who has received several charges for different incidents over the last year has entered a plea agreement.
27-year-old King James had received six separate charges for five different incidents that run from Dec. of 2016 through last month.
He has been charged with domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury; two counts of assault on a health care provider; assaulting a jailer or correctional staff; eluding and operating a motor vehicle while his license was barred; two counts of assault on a peace officer, jailer or correctional staff; and one count of interference with official acts causing bodily injury.
James has submitted a plea for the misdemeanor assault and aggravated misdemeanor assault on a jailer with all of the other charges have been dismissed.
He has been sentenced to two years in jail.
