Tonight marks the final night of the Iowa High School football regular season.  The New Hampton Chickasaw football team will be in Clear Lake tonight playing for a Class 2A District 2 Championship and a playoff berth as well.  The Chickasaws are 6-2 overall this season and have a District record of 5-1 while the Lions are 7-1 and 6-0.  With a win, the Chickasaws would win the District and clinch a playoff spot, but could still get into the postseason if they lose.  They would need either a Crestwood loss or a win by Osage and have the highest point differential of the three.  You can tune into tonight’s game right here on 951 The Bull starting with a pre-game at 7pm and kickoff is scheduled for 7:30.

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky football team will be trying to punch their ticket to the playoffs tonight as they get set to take on West Hancock in a Class A District 3 game at home.  The Huskies are 6-2 overall this season and they are 5-1 in District play while West Hancock comes in at 5-3 and 5-1.  If Nashua wins, they clinch a playoff berth, but could still sneak their way in if they lose and get some help.  Kickoff from Nashua will be at 7pm.

The Turkey Valley Trojan football team will wrap-up their season tonight with a home game against Janesville.  The Trojans are 5-3 overall this season and they are 2-3 in 8-man District 2.  Kickoff will be at 7pm.

The Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougar football team will play in its last game of the season tonight when they take on Lake Mills at home.  The Cougars are 3-5 overall this season and come in with a Class 1A District 2 record of 3-3 while Lake Mills is 2-6 and 1-5.  Kickoff for this one will also be at 7pm.
