Fredericksburg, IA – Cancer affects everyone. Most people probably know someone who has had cancer, has cancer or has it themselves. An event in Fredericksburg this weekend will help with this cause.

40 vendors will gather in small town, Iowa, on Saturday to help raise money for cancer awareness. This event is called the Cancer Awareness Vendor Show. These vendors will have stands set up to sell their products. Most of these people will have stands set up for their home-based businesses.

Norma Leach, founder of the show, says what this day will all have.

She says how the Cancer Awareness Vendor show got its start.

This event is open to the public. Leach says there will be some food for sale at the event.

The show will start at 10 a.m. and run until 2 that afternoon. Engelbrecht Winery will also be getting in on the giving. For every bottle of wine sold that day, the winery will donate $1 to the Chickasaw County Relay for Life.
