Des Moines, Iowa – State Representative Todd Prichard of Charles City has been selected by his colleagues to serve as an Assistant Minority Leader in the Iowa House of Representatives for the 2015 legislative session.

“In just his second term, Rep. Prichard has earned the support and trust of his colleagues at the State Capitol,” said House Democratic Leader Mark Smith of Des Moines. “Rep. Prichard understands how important it is to help small towns succeed and rebuild rural Iowa with good jobs and schools.”

“It’s a great honor serving the people of Chickasaw, Floyd, and Cerro Gordo counties in the Iowa House and I look forward to bringing Republicans and Democrats together this session to strengthen the middle class,” said Prichard.

The 2015 Legislative Session starts on Monday, January 12th.
