Coop workers get a surprise free lunch

Charles City , IA – With fall harvest continuing Kim Carmin at HyVee continued to surprise area farmers with a free lunch. Last week Kim focused on surprising farmers at work in their fields, and this week she focused on the Coop’s. The first surprise stop was to the Coop on 11th Street in Charles City where she surprised Mitch Grummitt and Matt Deardeuff:

All of the workers loved the unexpected surprise and were very grateful to Kim and to HyVee.  Another farmer who expressed his thanks was Ron Dunn:

Other coop stops included Agvantage and the Colwell Coop. Carmin really enjoyed being able to go out and thank the farmers personally with a free lunch and says she hopes to make it an annual HyVee tradition.
