Arraignment Continued For Sexual Assault Suspect From Rockford


Charles City, IA – The arraignment for 41 year old Brent Drees of Rockford, who was charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse, has been continued after his legal counsel withdrew.

Floyd County District Court records indicate that Drees is accused of abusing a child beginning in March 2012, when the child was still under age 12.

He’s charged with one count of second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony; five counts of third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony; and one count of child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor.

He’s in the Floyd County Jail until his arraignment at 9 a.m. on May 19.
