“Risky Business” conference on youth issues is today


Ames, IA – RadioIowa – A conference scheduled for today in central Iowa will bring together hundreds of teenagers and adult activists from across the state. The Risky Business conference focuses on critical issues confronting youth and professionals who work with youth. The event drew 650 people last year, according to organizer Jane Larkin of Youth and Shelter Services of Ames.

During the one-day event, Larkin says 38 different workshops will be offered on a range of subjects.
