Convicted Sex Offender Collects More Charges

West Union, IA – Timothy Parker, who is a convicted sex offender now faces additional charges.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office first arrested Parker back in 2010 where he plead guilty to two counts of 3rd degree sexual abuse and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Law enforcement on March 20th filed three more charges of 2nd degree sexual abuse, which is enhanced because Parker was previously convicted of a sex crime on a child. 2nd degree sexual abuse is a class A felony with the possibility of a 25 year prison sentence.

Parker remains in the Fayette County Jail with bond set at $225,000 cash only.
