CC Parks Soon Could Be Smoke Free

Charles City, IA – A tobacco free policy has been written and revised by the Charles City Park Board and is now awaiting a final review that will take place at the May 21st meeting.

The tobacco free policy outlines a plan to prohibit smoking in some of Charles City’s public parks. The policy aims to curb smoking in areas where there is likely to be children in a group setting like playgrounds and ball fields.
