Charles City Riverfront to See Improvements

CHARLES CITY- New informational signs are in the planning stages for the riverfront in Charles City.  Community Revitalization received a grant close to $3,300 for the installation of the signs says Parks and Recreation Director Steve Lindaman.

Possible locations for the signs include areas near the amphitheater and behind the library.  Park Board President Bob Kloberdanz says informational signs have been considered in the past.

Lindaman says the purpose of the signage is to provide information not only about the riverfront, but also other area attractions in Charles City.
